Moonlit Blossom

from Mortal Review by Mortal Review

lyrics

Moonlight piercing cold,
revealing each secret unshown,
pale as bones.
When there’s no one around,
screaming deafening howl,
neither lost nor found.
Pieces from this broken home
felt in every weakness I've shown.

Fall like rain,
effortless to the ground,
then flood beneath me.
Grasping
as we're
falling
far away,
out of reach.
Our light dimming slow.
From shine to glow.
Gasping
as we're
drowning
in the wake,
fight to breathe.

I still can’t believe.
Nothing can bring this relief.
Fears don't sleep.
Wondering this street alone.
I'll find this strength on my own.

Fall like rain…

Never let go…

There is no release.
There is no retreat.
I don't need to
live inside this lie.
